Patricia Steck Obituary

Patricia worked as a bookkeeper in the auditing office at Sears Roebuck for 42 years until her retirement at the age of 75. She was an original member of the Bayou Side Chapter of Sweet Adelines Chorus. She also sang with the Baton Rouge and New Orleans Chapters.
She is survived by her daughters, Ellen Gustafson, Susan Shepherd, Jennifer Cobb (Don) and Melinda Steck; grandchildren, Heather Herron, Joey Gustafson, Alexa Shepherd, Danielle and Charlie Cobb, and Nick Giffin; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Jack Francis; and sister, Marilyn Odum.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James F. Steck; grandchildren, Christian and Ian Steck; parents, Robert and Louise Francis; and brothers, Robert Francis, Donald Francis, and Jerry Francis.
A memorial visitation will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Graden of Memories Cemetery in Gray, Louisiana.
