Rita Kraemer Obituary
Rita Dupre Kraemer, 94, a native and resident of Houma, LA; passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 11:08pm.
Family and friends of the family are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, November 26, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church from 9:00am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation on Wednesday, November 26 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church at 11:00am with burial taking place in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.
Rita is survived by her loving family, her children; Sandra Dugas, Lee Kraemer and wife Jessica; grandchildren, Alex and Zachary Kraemer.
Rita is preceded in passing by her husband, Robert "Bobby" Kraemer; parents, Alexander Dupre Sr. and Lorena Scott Dupre; son, Ray Dugas; brothers, Harry Dupre, Roland Dupre, Leland Dupre, Floyd Dupre, Alexander Dupre Jr.; sisters, Zenobia Fazzio, Dorothy Lawson, Joyce Poiencot and Elizabeth Dupre.
Rita was a very generous person who always gave of her time and wisdom to anyone she could help. She loved her family dearly. She also had a well developed sense of humor and enjoyed telling, hearing, or even giving a good joke or humorous line. She enjoyed playing and going to the casino; playing Texas Hold'em.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Terrebonne Health System for the love, care and support given to Rita and family in their time of need.
