Kim Darcy Biondi

Kim Biondi, 55, Social Worker and Avid Birdwatcher passed away peacefully on 1/21/2025 after a long fight with cancer.
Kim lived most of her life in many places primarily around New York. Kim dedicated her life to helping others as a compassionate and devoted social worker. She touched many lives with her kindness and empathy, always going above and beyond for those in need. She helped people who were victims of domestic violence find housing and also helped families struggling to adopt kids.
Kim had a deep love for nature and was particularly passionate about birds. She spent many peaceful hours birdwatching with her dear friend Russ, finding joy and serenity in their shared hobby. Her love for the outdoors and the beauty of birds brought her peace and connection to the world around her. She will be missed by her beloved cockatiel Paquito.
Russell Schwager also cared for Kim's mental and physical health tirelessly for a year and a half. My family can't thank him enough for his selfless sacrifice and advocacy for Kim over the last 10 years.
Kim is survived by her brother, Scott Biondi, who will forever cherish her memory. Her warmth, generosity, and dedication to helping others will be remembered by all who knew her. She will also be missed by her nephews Evan and Brett as well as Scott's wife Jaime.
