Kim Dowell Obituary

Kim was born in Knoxville, TN in 1957. She attended Farragut Highschool and then went on to graduate from UTK where she graduated with a degree in nursing. She later on attended Texas Women's University in Houston, TX and earned her Masters in hospital administration. Kim worked as a Hospital Administrator for many years before retiring in 2017. She was a member of First Baptist Concord Church. In her free time, Kim enjoyed gardening, studying the bible, hiking, and traveling.
Kim was preceded in death by her father, Richard Landon.
She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Mike Dowell; daughter, Alexandra (Adam) Lovejoy; step-son, Robert M. (Christy) Dowell; step-daughter, Michele (Chris) Saffelle; grandchildren, Ellie Lovejoy, Michael Dowell, Alex Saffelle, Kate Saffelle, and Andrew Saffelle; mother, Betty Joan Landon; sister, Lori (Mike) Jag; brothers, Rick (Cindy) Landon and Mike (Cheryl) Landon; aunt, Shirley Jenkins; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 29, 2025 from 5PM to 7PM at Click Funeral Home- Farragut Chapel. Memorial Services will follow at 7PM.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Loudon County Animal Shelter in Kim's name.
