Daniel Steven Galloway

Daniel Steven Galloway (39), whose hope was solidly fixed on Christ, entered into the presence of the Lord on February 6, 2026. He will be remembered as a man of unwavering steadfastness, deep loyalty, and faithful love. Daniel was born on July 28, 1986, into the loving home of Alan and Jayne Galloway. He was a beloved brother to his three sisters, Lynda Ellison, Kristen and Anne Galloway. On December 20, 2008, he married his cherished wife of 17 years, Beth Galloway. Daniel loved Beth with strength, tenderness, and sacrifice that reflected Christ's love for the church and together they raised their children Benjamin (7) and Gracie (5) in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Daniel will be greatly missed and remembered with thankfulness by many others including, his father and mother-in-law Butch and Jan Smith, his sisters and brother-in-law, Lynne Herndon, Matt and Joellen Ledford, and 10 nieces and nephews.

Upon graduating from the University of Tennessee, Daniel pursued a career in finance with Home Federal Bank where he served as a dedicated employee for 15 years. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Concord where he served as a deacon and on numerous committees.

"We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28

Daniel fought the good fight, finished the course, and kept the faith; now his faith has become sight and in that we rejoice and take comfort.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 5-7 PM at First Baptist Concord with a service following at 7 PM. A private burial will be held that morning. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made, in person or by phone, at any Home Federal Bank branch to the Galloway Children Honorary Fund in c/o Beth Galloway.
