Kim Anthony Duerson, Sr, 67 of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on November 25,2025.
Kim was born and raised in Evansville, Indiana, on July 5, 1958, to Donald Bernell Dixon and Joyce Marie Thomas Dixon.
Kim moved to Indianapolis a few years ago, where he was very active in his church and enjoyed his life fellowshipping with family and friends. Kim was a faithful member of Brookside Community Church in Indianapolis. He worked for Lucas Oil, and he enjoyed having fun.
Kim was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Donella Dixon, Beatrice Dixon-Johnson, Terrance Gibson, and Ronald Gibson
Kim is survived by his children: oldest son Kim Duerson Jr, Lamar Duerson, Toyshae Duerson, Oldest daughter Kenya Duerson–Stewart (Jamell), Kesha Duerson, Kimberlia Duerson, and Grandchildren. His companion, Evelyn Lange, Siblings: Deborah Dixon-Hunter, Donald Dixon, Ronald Dixon, Brian Dixon, Sherri Gibson, Denise Gibson, and LaShaun Gibson.
And a host of Nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends
Kim was unforgettable, and his spirit will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Funeral service Monday, 1:00 pm at Bread of Life Kingdom Ministries, 1700 Pollack Ave
Visitation 12:00 PM until service time at the church
