Kim Cassidy Head, 55, died Wednesday, December 7, 2022. Born, December 6, 1967, in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Arthur and Ina Thompson Cassidy. Kim was a graduate of Coker College and was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Cheraw, SC. She was a loving mother and enjoyed playing the piano. She also loved music and cooking, and animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, listed above.
Kim leaves behind to cherish her memory, sons, Raymond Bates of Oakland, CA, and Ryan Head of Hanahan, SC; a daughter, Rebekah Bates of Yanceyville, NC; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw, SC. Inurnment will follow in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens in Cheraw, SC.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. just prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
Kiser Funeral Home has been entrusted to serve the Bates/Cassidy/Head family in their time of grief.
