Kim Lisa Jackson, 63, departed this life peacefully on Dec 30, 2023.
Kim was born July 3, 1960, in Beacon, NY. The daughter of Douglas and Pocahontas Jackson.
Kim attended the Beacon City School District, where she was a popular cheerleader and went on to graduate in 1978.
After high school graduation Kim attended Dutchess Community College and went on to work for the New York State Bridge Authority.
On January 24, 1993 Kim gave birth to her son Maxwell Mosley in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where she resided for several years.
Kim returned to Beacon to care for her parents and remained a lifelong resident of Beacon, NY.
Kim was also a lifelong member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Beacon, NY and will be remembered fondly in the Beacon community for her beauty, bright smile and contagious laugh.
Kim is survived by her son Maxwell Mosley and beloved granddaughter Madyson Dior Mosley. Kim is also survived by her sisters: Carmen Smith, Tanya Horton and Barbara Anne Quinn. Kim’s surviving brothers are: Christopher Horton and Douglas Jackson Jr. Kim leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her dearly.
Kim was predeceased by her beloved parents: Douglas Jackson Sr., Pocahontas Jackson and her siblings: Gloria Reed and Jack Pulliam.
Kim also leaves behind a special friend, Curtis Thompson whom she shared a close and loving relationship with for over 15 years.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, New York. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday January 20, 2024 at 11:00am at St. Andrews-St. Luke Episcopal Church, 15 South Avenue, Beacon, New York.
