Kim Ratushniak, our loving mother, daughter, and sister, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021. Kim Chase was born on November 4, 1965 in Ogden, Utah to Karen Clough and Brooke H. Chase.

She graduated from Weber State University and worked in the State of Utah Department of Technology Services for over 20 years. Kim loved her work and built many wonderful relationships there.

She married Brent Ratushniak on February 14th, 1997. They had had two beautiful children, one son and one daughter, who were the light of Kim's life. Her world revolved around them.

Kim loved being a ski bum in the winter and hiking in the red rock hills with her dog, Misty, when it was warm. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her girlfriends and traveled often to see her family and children. Kim was a free spirit. She was resilient, persevering, and unconditionally loving.

Kim is survived by her son Cody Ratushniak, daughter Kassie Ratushniak; father Brooke (Donna) Chase, mother Karen (Greg) Painter; sister Tamera (Mark) Faas; dog Misty.
