Kim Rebecca Severance, 59, entered the presence of her heavenly Father, on Monday, December 1, 2025, at her home in Reidsville. She had been courageously battling health issues for the past two years.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, December 8, 2025, from 12:30-1:30PM. A celebration of life will be held, following the visitation, beginning at 2:00PM at Baptist Temple Church, 729 Wentworth St., Reidsville, NC.
Kim was born on December 21, 1965, in Reidsville, NC to the late William “Bill” and Betty Severance. A graduate of Reidsville High School, she competed in track and field. Kim was a graduate of Rockingham Community College with a degree in cosmetology in addition to completing a medical billing and coding course. She was a smart, hardworking woman who loved to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoyed crocheting, bowling, cooking, and baking. Kim was good with people and never met a stranger, she was always willing to help anyone in need. She was a joyful soul with a radiant smile who loved to laugh. She loved all animals, especially her dog “Jax”. Kim always trusted in the Lord to provide everything she needed and take care of her.
She is survived by her children, Erika Davis (Jesse) and Jon Davis (Lynne); grandchildren, Brady and Chase; siblings, Gail Turner (Rocky), Rhonda Wheeler (Ron), David Severance (Catherine); in addition to numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
