Services: 10am Saturday, March 11, 2023 from the Ott & Lee Chapel Morton.
Burial: Hodge Hill Cemetery.

Kim Stamper, age 58, a resident of Morton passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Her visitation will be held 5pm-8pm Friday, March 10, 2023 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral services will be held 10am Saturday, March 11, 2023 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Hodge Hill Cemetery. Bro. Barron Price and Bro. Nathan Morales will officiate the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Kim was born in Scott County on January 20, 1965. She had a perfect green thumb for growing plants. Kim loved cooking, camping, reading and enjoyed getting her nails done, pedicures and getting massages. She had a passion for helping others, a caring heart and her family described her as, "the backbone of their family." Kim loved her family very much and her fur babies, Bella and Coco-puff were her heart. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Dot McLemore; brother, Peanut McLemore; grandson, Cameron Stamper; in-laws, Emma Salers and Charles Stamper.
She is survived by her loving husband, Phillip Stamper of Morton; father, Clyde McLemore of Morton; son, Casey Stamper of Morton; nephew, Chase McLemore; great niece, Emily McLemore; brother-in-law, Roger Stamper; sister-in-law, Patty Cole; devoted friend, Sharon Currie; a host of other family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be Chris Squires, Roger Shoemaker, Brad Ingram, Roger Stamper, Jack Short and Jerry Johnson.

Kim and I worked together for a few years early in our careers. Don't think she was much more than 25. She was an intelligent woman and hard working. She was always kind and had a smile for you. If I remember right, we worked together 88-92ish. May God be with you my friend.
