Kimberley was one of my math teachers and my cheerleading coach at Frederick Douglass High School. She was always so sweet and a pleasure to be around. When I was selected as Miss Douglass 1997, she told me how proud she was and created a photo album for me to make my "special time memorable." I'll always cherish this gift, her leadership and friendship. My sincerest sympathy and prayers are with the Byner and Baker family during this time of sorrow.

My heart is so broken! My friend you will surely be missed. Thanks for thinking of me until the end. Although, God saw to take you on the day of my birth you thought enough of me to call me the day before, because you said you wanted to call me early so you wouldn´t forget.
I guess you knew. I love you dearly and wish your family comfort and peace! You were an angel and will forever be missed!!!

Kim and I worked together in summer school for several summers. we also worked together at Spelman College, for Atlanta Public School summer program for gifted students. We also served on many math book evaluations for Atlanta Public School. She was an excellent math teacher. I will certainly miss her.
