Kimberly (Kim) was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on April 16, 1968, to Earl and Dorothy Kellow. She was the oldest of three children and grew up in Tallahassee, where she graduated from Lincoln High School. Kim was married to Douglas Barlowe for 25 years and together they raised their daughter, Sydney Barlowe, Doug's son, Daniel Barlowe and their niece Madeline Walsh. She was a beloved wife, mother, aunt, and sister. She had a strong faith in God and love for her family.
Kim worked as a legal assistant for several law firms in Tallahassee and became an Avon Corporate Sales Manager in 2000 and trained and assisted over 500 independent sales representatives each year. Her district stretched from Panama City through Tallahassee and down to Crystal River. She enjoyed collaborating with people for business opportunities and her hard work earned her multiple Circle of Excellence Awards, earned by top managers with the largest yearly sales increases. This award allowed Kim and Doug to travel to Paris, Sydney, Maui, Beijing, Las Vegas, the Caman Islands and enjoy Caribbean cruises. In 2018 Kim downsized and started Smile-in-Style, a photo booth and event planning company with partner Nicki Gandy. Kim enjoyed sports and the family grille-out on Saturdays included FSU and the University of Louisville football games.
Kim was preceded in death by her sister Denise Kellow-Walsh and mother Dorothy Kellow. She is survived by husband Douglas Barlowe, daughter Sydney Barlowe, stepson Dr. Daniel Barlowe, (Sarah), Sellersburg, IN, niece Madeline Walsh, Tallahassee, stepdaughters Kemira Barlowe, Tallahassee and Shauna Barlowe, Tallahassee, mother-in-law Frances Barlowe, Tallahassee and six step grandchildren.
