Kimberly Denise Brown, age 62, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2024, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born on May 12, 1962, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to her loving parents, James Brown Jr. and Sandra Anderson. Kimberly was known for her vibrant personality and her unapologetic honesty. She had a unique ability to tell it like it was, offering wisdom and encouragement that shaped the lives of those around her. Her humor and infectious laughter brought joy to even the simplest moments. Kimberly loved a good party and was always ready to dance and sing, embracing life with an unparalleled zest. A talented cook, Kimberly enjoyed experimenting with new recipes and spices, creating meals that brought family and friends together. Her straightforward nature left no room for ambiguity-she made it clear where you stood with her, whether through her words or actions. Kimberly's legacy includes the lessons she imparted from the "school of hard knocks," which will be passed down through generations. She is survived by her children: Robbie Weller, Kevin Brown, and Kelly Brown; her grandchildren: Robbie Weller Jr., Trey Jr., Tiana, Taavi, Tailyn, Teagan, Trustin Phillips, and Gino Brown; her siblings: James Brown, Carl (Cathy) Brown, Sharon Williams, Lynda (Ron) Baldwin, Carol Patterson, and Pam Davis; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her eldest son, Shaun Weller. Kimberly will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her tenacity, wit, charm, and unwavering love will never be forgotten. In lieu of a formal service, a private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date per her wishes. Donations in her memory can be made to the American Lung Association at www.lung.org.
