Kimberly Conklin

Kimberly Rene Conklin (née Cruff), beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on August 12, 2025, at the age of 59. She is survived by her loving daughter, Laura Conklin; her devoted sister, Wendy Cruff; and her niece and nephew, Kelsey and Christian Breen. She was preceded in death by her mother, Karen Cruff. Kim was born on September 27, 1965, in South Bend, Indiana, and grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, where she shared a close childhood with her sister, Wendy. In her early twenties, she proudly joined the U.S. Navy, serving her country for five years with courage and dedication. She welcomed her daughter, Laura, in November 1990, and continued her service until her honorable discharge in May 1994. After leaving the Navy, Kim pursued higher education, earning her MBA and building a successful career in sales at BellSouth. Her pursuit of knowledge and passion for helping others led her back to school in her forties, when she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic. In 2014, Kim and her daughter moved to Park City, Utah, where she embraced a new chapter of life in the mountains. Despite facing medical challenges in the last few years of her life, Kim persevered with remarkable resilience, positivity, and grace. She will be remembered for her strength of spirit, her deep kindness, and her generosity toward others. Beyond her professional and personal achievements, Kim brought joy to those around her in countless ways. She was known for her incredible baking, her love of thrifting, and her big heart. She created warmth and comfort wherever she went, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience that will never be forgotten. Kim's memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. A memorial service celebrating Kim's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, Utah.
