Kimberly G. Dull STAUNTON

Kimberly Ann "Kim" (Gilmer) Dull, 32, wife of Charles A. "Chuck" Dull of Smoky Row Road, Staunton, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2011, at her residence.

Kim was born April 14, 1979, in Staunton, a daughter of Steven Andrew and Brenda Lee (Burtner) Ryder.

Kim attended Parkway Wesleyan Church and was a graduate of Buffalo Gap High School class of 1997. She was previously employed with VSDB and The Meating Place. Kim enjoyed being a wonderful stay-at-home wife to Chuck and mommy to Teagan. She also enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her very special maternal great-grandmother, "MawMaw" Lena Virginia Sheppard and maternal great-grandparents, Marion M. and Pribble Burtner and her paternal great-grandparents, Carl and Catherine Kester.

Surviving in addition to her loving husband of six years and her parents, is a very special daughter, Teagan Lena Dull of the home; her maternal grandparents, Randall Lynwood and Marcella Ann (Sheppard) Burtner of Staunton; her paternal grandparents, James A. and Bonnie (Kester) Ryder of Staunton; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Susie Key and Charles E. Dull of Staunton; two step-sisters, Stephanie Lynn Ryder and Andrea Leigh Ryder, both of Churchville; a sister-in-law, Melissa R. Graves and her husband, C.P., of Verona; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins as well as many, many special friends also survive.

A Celebration of Kim's life will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011, in Parkway Wesleyan Church by Pastor Barry G. Lawson and the Reverend Hollis Dodge.

Burial will follow in the Bells Valley Cemetery in Rockbridge County.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, May 30, 2011, at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home of her parents, Brenda and Steven Ryder, 274 Parkersburg Turnpike, Staunton, and the home of her mother and father-in-law, Susie and Charlie Dull, 26 E. Parkview Drive, Staunton.

Active pallbearers will be Troy Davis, Tanner Elphee, Billy Sheppard, James Sheppard, Thomas Mooneyham and James Clifton.

Honorary pallbearers will be friends attending the service.

It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to a Memorial Trust Fund for her daughter, Teagan Lena Dull, c/o James A. Ryder, 806 Mona Circle, Staunton, VA 24401.

Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton, is in charge of her arrangements.
