Kimberly Higgins was born February 6, 1972 – Stratford, NJ passed August 10,2025

Kimberly Higgins, affectionately known as Kim, was born on February 6, 1972, at JFK Hospital in Stratford, NJ, to Victor and Tae-Im Higgins. She was educated within the New Jersey school system and spent her life making an indelible impact on everyone she met.

Kim's radiant smile, complete with her signature dimples, was one of her most beloved features. She had an infectious energy that could light up any room, and her sense of humor made her the life of the party. A true lover of life, Kim had an unparalleled ability to bring joy and laughter to those around her, but she also had a fierce side that reminded everyone not to cross her. Her presence was a gift to anyone lucky enough to know her.

On July 21, 1989, Kim became a proud mother to a son, Gregory A. Higgins. Less than a year later, on June 24, 1990, she welcomed her precious daughter, Alexis S. Higgins. These two children were her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment with them.

Kim was also known for her incredible kindness and generosity. She opened her home on Newton Avenue in Camden to those in need, offering shelter, food, and comfort to homeless children. Her heart was always open, and she was deeply committed to helping others, volunteering at the local food bank and clothing center whenever possible. Kim's love for family was boundless, and one of her most cherished memories was taking her mother on a Caribbean cruise last summer, a trip that brought them both immense joy.

As the youngest of the Higgins family, Kim had a playful spirit and often jokingly claimed to be the eldest. However, one thing was for certain-she was deeply loved by all who knew her.

Kim was preceded in death by her father, Victor Higgins Sr. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and compassion. She is mourned by her fiancé, Kevin McBridde; her children, Gregory A. Higgins and Alexis S. Higgins; her mother, Tae-Im Higgins; her siblings, Geneva Gordon (Mel Gordon), Monica Higgins, Victor Higgins (Stephanie Higgins), and Beatrice Higgins ;her grandchildren, Kimya M. Hawkins, Haleem Higgins, Issiah Young, Messiah Young, Aubrey Higgins, and Gregory A. Bowdry; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and extended family.

Kim's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Rest in peace, Kim. You were truly one of a kind.
