KIMBERLY KAY KRASSIN, age 61, of Waseca, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Monday, January 26, 2026.
Kimberly was born on May 25, 1964, in Lanesboro, Minnesota, the daughter of Kenneth and Elaine (Torgeson) Knutson. She attended school in Lanesboro and was a graduate of United South Central High School in Wells. Throughout her working years, Kimberly held various jobs, most notably at Brown Printing and Viracon.
On May 18, 1991, Kimberly was united in marriage to Kevin Krassin at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wilton Township. Although they later divorced, Kevin remained the love of her life.
Kimberly’s greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted mother and a proud grandmother who deeply cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. Whether creating memories at holidays, sharing laughs around the grill, or simply being together, family was always at the center of Kimberly’s life.
She especially loved Christmas and the Fourth of July, and she found happiness in camping, listening to rock music, and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings. Kimberly was blessed with a close circle of lifelong girlfriends who meant the world to her. She was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Wilton Township.
Kimberly is survived by her children, Alicia (Kodi) Wallace-Cunningham, Tiffany Krassin, and Christopher Krassin, all of Waseca; her grandchildren, Mickenzye, Brooklyn, Jasmine, and Mia; and her special family, Vivian, Darrell, Delvin, Sharon, and Sara Drinkall of Lanesboro.
She was preceded in death by her parents; the love of her life, Kevin Krassin; brother, Dennis McMillan; sisters, Tina Larson, DeLaine Bartholmey; special brother, Dennis Drinkall; and many other relatives.
A private family service for Kimberly will take place at a later date.
