Kimberly Lynn Kuhlman, age 44, of Kennesaw Ga, passed away September 5, 2023. She is survived by her loving husband Chad and sons Clayton, Ethan and Grayson; her parents David and Linda Hawkins and sisters Lori (Thomas) Bengtson and Rebecca Hawkins. She is also survived by Chad's parents, Kent and Pam Alderton, sister-in-law Ann (Jeremy) Johnson and four nephews.
A graduate of Clearwater High School, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Education, cum laude from the University of West Georgia. She graduated with a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont College. She completed her degree of Educational Specialist at Nova Southeastern University. She taught 4th grade for 11 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom.
Kim was committed to living a Christian life to the fullest. Her compassionate nature and kindness endeared her to others. Kim focused her energy on her family and home life, searching out new recipes for her love of cooking and baking, volunteering at her sons' school, hosting parties for all occasions and leading Jazzercise classes. She always had a kind heart, word and really "never met a stranger".
She had a soft heart for the furry members of their family Abbie, Howie, Riley, Hollie and Bentley.
Kim was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Grant and Doretha Hawkins, her maternal grandparents, John and Rose Knof, five uncles, four aunts and one cousin.
Kim's final act of giving to others was becoming an organ donor through LifeLink of Georgia.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Cobb County, a charity Kim and Chad often supported.

I worked with Kim many years ago at Dorsett Shoals Elementary in Douglasville. My memories of Kim are that she was a great teacher and easy to work with. She always had a smile, and her positive energy was infectious. We reconnected on FB and through pictures I was able to see her beautiful family. My condolences to all of her family.
