Kimberly A. "Kim" Lauseng

Kimberly A. Lauseng, age 69, of Cambridge died December 11, 2025 at Hennepin County Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Friday, December 19th at Strike Life Tributes in Cambridge. A time for visiting will be held from 4:00 P.M. until the service at 6:00 P.M.

Kimberly "Kim" A. Lauseng was born on November 12th, 1956 to James (J.T.) and Thelma (Bigler) Wright in Wichita, KS. She graduated from Rush City High School in 1975. She enjoyed all of her school years, especially cheerleading. Kim met the love of her life, Douglas "Doug" J. Lauseng through their mutual friend, Gary, and they were married on September 18th, 1982. Kim and Doug went on to have two children, Tiffany and Brittany.

Throughout her life she enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing pull tabs, and trips to the casino. She began working as a waitress, held a few finance positions, worked at Cub Foods for many years, and in Court Administration at the Isanti County Government Center for 34 years. After retiring from the Isanti County Government Center on March 6th, 2020, Kim enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, swinging in the backyard and watching TV with Doug, playing dice and cards with family and neighbors, and playing Candy Crush every night in bed. Kim was known for her unique, infectious laugh that she gave freely whenever she found something funny. She was so easy to love because of her desire to help people and how much she cared for others. She will be missed forever.

Kim passed away at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis on December 11th, 2025, surrounded by her family and friends at the age of 69 years. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Tom Wright, sister-in-law, Diana Wright; and sister, Linda Wolf.

Kim is survived by her husband, Doug; her two daughters, Tiffany (Brent) Kafer, Brittany (Jeff) Sibell; and her seven grandchildren, Brennan, Mikayla, Savannah, Linkon, Koltyn, Chelsey, and Jensen.
