Kimberly Kay Martin, 64, of Rustburg, Virginia, passed away on August 23, 2025, at 6:34pm. She was the daughter of the late Daniel Jefferson Murray, Jr. and Virginia Ann Murray.
Mrs. Martin was born on October 7, 1960, in Orange County, California. She was a chef in Lynchburg hospitals, creating her famous recipes, and sharing her love through food to everyone around her.
Kimberly loved God and her family. She enjoyed spending time and loving on her grandchildren. She also loved reading, preparing food for her loved ones ,and taking every chance, she could to check in with friends and family.
Kimberly is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Jefferson Martin Sr. Kimberly is survived by her children, Tommy Martin (Wife: Heather Martin), Bobby Jefferson Martin Jr. (Wife: Briea Martin), Jessica Nicole Martin (Son in law: Ryan Taylor), Johnathan Wyatt Martin (Wife: Linda Martin); Grandchildren, Jacob Martin, Thomas Martin, Shane Taylor, Kirra Taylor, Isabella Martin, Mason Martin, Lennon Martin, Axton Taylor, Gavin Taylor, Clifton Martin, and Lillian Taylor; Siblings, Danny Murray (Wife: Lisa Murray), and Debbie Bishop (Husband: Rodney Bishop); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
