Kimberly D. Mildren, of Grove, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Integris Hospital, at the age of 65.
Kimberly was born on February 12, 1959, to Dwight and Barbara (Redig) Mildren in Eldorado, IL. As a child her family moved to Oklahoma and Kim graduated from Chelsea High School in 1978. A proud graduate of Oklahoma State University, Kimberly also served in the Coast Guard and was a member of the American Legion. She had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying activities such as fishing, camping, and spending time in nature.
Kimberly was a dedicated electrical engineer for both Cessna and American Airlines in Tulsa, OK.
On December 29, 2014, Kimberly married her partner and soul mate, Rebecca Allen in Oklahoma City, OK. The couple moved to Grand Lake in 2020.
Kimberly was known for her rambunctious personality, outgoing nature, and strong-willed demeanor. She was a loyal friend who always put others before herself. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Roxanne Young and Evanna Simmons and brothers Phillip and Bill Mildren. Left to cherish her memory, her spouse Rebecca Allen, stepson James Allen, God Daughter Caitlyn Patera, siblings Dwight Mildren, Bob Mildren, Judy Smith and Barbara Sensui.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Legion Post #178 in Kimberly's honor. A celebration of Kimberly's life will be held at 1pm Friday, May 24, 2024, at Nichols-Stephens Funeral Chapel.

I would like to offer my deepest condolences with prayers of comfort to Becky and the family of Kim Mildren. Kim was so funny and caring I feel very fortunate to have meet and worked with here at STS Engineering.

My deepest condolences go out to Kim's family and friends during this terrible time. I worked with Kim at STS Engineering, although it was a virtual position, I got to know a very nice person whom made me laugh when I needed it most, she was a straight shooter! She didn't know me very well, yet offered for us to drop by on our way out west and stay on her property.

Prayers for comfort and peace that surpasses understanding to Becky and all of Kim's loved ones. I will always remember Kim as a kind and generous person, which she demonstrated in both her personal and professional life. She was a valuable member of the STS team and it was a pleasure to work with her. -Lisa Conrad, STS Engineering Solutions (and friend)
