Kimberly Ann Sedlacek, 58 years, of Wahoo, NE, passed away peacefully December 7, 2025, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.

She was born March 1, 1967, in Lincoln, NE, to Arlan and Marlene Boldebuck. She graduated from Malcolm High School in 1985 and continued her education by receiving a bachelor's degree at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She was active in the Alpha Delta Pi sorority while she attended college at UNL. Kimberly met her soulmate in 1990 at Pla Mor Ballroom, and on April 25, 1992, Kimberly married Dwayne Sedlacek. They lived on the family farm near Prague, NE before moving to Wahoo in 2020.

Kimberly began her professional life as a social worker in Lincoln, Nebraska. She went on to serve as Director of Omaha Big Brothers Big Sisters and later continued her work in social services in Wahoo. Most recently, she was a service coordinator at ESU #2 in Fremont. Throughout her career, Kimberly brought deep compassion to everything she did. She was a tireless advocate for youth development, genuinely devoted to the people she served, and known for going above and beyond for her clients.

Kimberly was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Prague, where she was also active in the PCCW. She delighted in simple joys, especially flowers and the happiness they gave her-and cherished time spent with her grandchildren. Kimberly also loved slipping away for weekend trips with Dwayne, or simply taking a drive with no particular destination, enjoying the moments together along the way. While she was devoted to her work and community, Kimberly was most proud of the family she built and the children she loved so deeply.

She is survived by her husband, Dwayne of Wahoo; sons, Samuel (Tiffany) Sedlacek of Wahoo, and Nicholas (Paige) Sedlacek of Prague; daughters Anna (Jordan) Morrissey of Lincoln, and Jessica (Gavin) Soden of Prague; 2 grandchildren, Addison and Emmett Sedlacek of Wahoo; brothers-in-law, Donald (Marlene) Sedlacek of Overland Park, and Daniel Sedlacek of Prague; sisters-in-law, Dianne (Ken) Kielniarz of Omaha, and Katherine Sedlacek of Lincoln.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her parents; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ignac and Fidelis Sedlacek; and brother-in-law, David Sedlacek.

The funeral mass will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Prague, NE. The visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Monday, December 15th at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Prague with a rosary said following the visitation at 7:00 PM at the Church. Burial will be at St. John Catholic Cemetery in Prague
