Kimberly Renee Sharp, 58, passed from this life on May 7, 2023. Kim was born on November 6, 1964, in Huntsville, Arkansas to Jess and Rita (Goucher) Sharp.
She was a cancer survivor for over thirty years. Kim was preceded in death by her father, Jess Sharp; brother, Ron Sharp; and grandparents, John and Grace Goucher and Carl and Opal Sharp. She is survived by her loving family: Rita Sharp, Tim and Sheri (Sharp) Gay, Daniel and Sonja (Sharp) Rodden, Taci (Sharp) Shinn, Connor Shinn, Ramone and Meisha (James) Rushing, Josh, Eli, and Colton Palmour, Kingston Perdue, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Kim was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and a dedicated employee of Walmart for 18 years. She attended Huntsville Elementary, Middle, and High School. She is remembered by family and friends for her great sense of humor and love of flowers and gardening. She was also very talented at arts and crafts, sewing, basket weaving, cross stitching, and tie-dying, and she gifted family members with many beautiful handmade items throughout the years. Kim will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will be forever cherished.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, May 12, 2023, at Alabam Cemetery with Tim Gay officiating. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
