Kinzleigh Nicole Short, age 3 departed life on March 21, 2025 at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas Texas. She was born November 2, 2021 at Baylor in McKinney Texas, she’s the daughter of Ashlyn Spoonemore and Kason Short. Her best friend was her sister Raylynn Rene Spoonemore.
She is survived by her grandmothers, Christina Spoonemore, and Ashley Short. Her nana, Deanna Tiller. Her grandfathers, Philip Spoonemore and Randy Belcher. Other survivors left to cherish Kinzleighs memories are great grandmother Cindi Spoonemore, Linda Short. Great grandfather Anthony Short, great great grandmothers Donna Blackstock and Shirley Spoonemore. Along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is proceeded in death by her uncle, Jordan Abbott; great grandfather Donnie Spoonemore; and great great grandfather Lynn Spoonemore. Kinzleigh was such a beautiful child. She loved to play with her sister and all her cousins. Her favorite thing to do was dress up and play with her baby dolls, pretending to be mommy. She loved to drive and ride in her “car”. She loved to sneak around and hide with scissors as evidence by her short hair. She was a happy child, a shining light to all who knew her. She will be forever loved and in our hearts. We love you Kinzleigh and will meet again. It is so awesome that you are seeing Jesus!
