Kirk Andreopoulos Obituary
Born on May 3rd, 1949 in Pireaus, Greece, he grew into a man defined by service, love of his family and friends, his faith, and his convictions. His years in the United States Navy took him across the world, creating a lifelong love of travel and a deep respect for the discipline and camaraderie of military life.
He was married to his beautiful wife Ann Andreopoulos for 48 years and stood by her faithfully through sickness and in health. At home, he shared those lessons, teaching his sons the value of self sufficiency and the importance of supporting the people you love.
Music and celebrating life were a big part of who he was. He often filled family gatherings with song, singing with a full heart and playing his guitar with a joy that brought everyone closer. He was always the first one on the dance floor at any celebration and the last one off. Those moments and many more became treasured memories, for those who knew him.
He is survived by his two sons, George and Elias, his daughter in law Catherine, his beloved grandson Elias, his sister Maria and two brothers Andreas and Yiannis. Each carries forward a piece of his spirit-his steadfastness, his love and unwavering commitment to family.
He will be remembered for his stories, his songs, his convictions, his strength, and the love he gave without hesitation. His legacy lives on in the family he built and the values he instilled.
The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 PM followed by a Trisagion service at 6:00 PM on Thursday February 5, 2026 in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Rd Chapel. His funeral service will take place on Friday February 6, 2026 in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral at 11:00 AM with his interment to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Kirk was a Great Friend, A Great Technician and a Great Man. I sailed with him for 10 years and his exploits are Legendary. May God Bless and Keep Kirk and his family in his Loving Arms.
