Kirk R. Luper

KIRK R. LUPER Kirk R. Luper passed away unexpectedly on August 24, 2024. Kirk was born to Keith and Kolene (Burkhart) Luper on May 9, 1960. He was an Augusta, KS, high school graduate and attended Allen County Community College. He was a career employee of Beechcraft/Raytheon/Textron where he held many positions, including Crew Chief. Kirk enjoyed many hobbies including fishing, playing guitar, and spending time with his family, friends, and church family. He had a quick wit, a generous heart, and a love for Scripture. He is preceded in death by his father Keith Luper. Kirk is survived by his wife Jeanne Le and son Caleb Luper, both of Wichita, KS, step-daughter Trinh (Mark) Price and grandson Ethan of Atlanta, GA, step-son John Pham of Tulsa, OK, his mother Kolene Luper of Augusta, KS, brothers and sisters-in-law Steve and Debbie Luper of Andover, KS, and Craig and Pam Luper of Nairobi, Kenya, niece and nephews Ashleigh Luper of Andover, KS, Joshua and Sarah Luper of Augusta, KS, Zachary and Subira Luper of Seattle, WA, and Jordan and Peggy Luper of Knoxville, TN, uncle Gary Burkhart of Ulysses, KS, cousins Darren and Lisa Burkhart of Bakersfield, CA, Dustin Burkhart of El Dorado, KS, and Cory and Kourtney Burkhart of Goddard, KS, great nephews and nieces Ethan Luper, Elijah Luper, and Mira Luper of Augusta, KS, Margo and Maeve Luper of Knoxville, TN, and many step-nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., at Reflection Pointe, 3201 S. Webb Rd, Wichita, KS.
