Kirk Allen Vincent, age 67, of
Manistique, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on December 16, 2025, at Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital in Manistique.
Kirk was born on May 14, 1958, in
Berkley, Michigan, the son of Ronald Vincent and Rosemarie Gonzalez. He was a 1977 graduate of Manistique High School. A month later, June 11,1977, Kirk married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Tammy Wilkes in Manistique. Their marriage spanned almost 50 years and together they shared many beautiful memories.
Throughout his career, Kirk worked for the Kewadin Casino, where he served for over 23 years as a maintenance manager. He also worked as a groundskeeper, shuttle manager, truck driver, and business owner. His skills in maintenance and his willingness to help others were traits many admired.
Kirk enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors. He had a love for rocks and stones, enjoyed camping, and cherished being with his family. He was a member of the Schoolcraft County Snowmobile Association and loved attending Indy 500 races. Above all else, Kirk valued time spent with those he loved most.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Vincent, of Manistique; his mother, Rosemarie Vincent, of Manistique; his son, Greg (Lisa) Vincent, of Thompson, Michigan; his daughters, Kristina (Ryan) Stoken, of Garden, Michigan, and Kimberly (Shawn Andersen) Hampton, of
Manistique, Michigan. Grandchildren Brandon Chartier, Cody Bridges, Kirk Vincent, Schyler Andersen, Spencer Hampton, Carter Hampton, Parker Hampton, Tamra Stoken, Harper Andersen, Ryan Stoken, and Jasper Andersen. Great grandchildren William Hampton, Lakelynn Vincent, Chase Chartier, Ryker Chartier, Abel Chartier, and Bodhi Chartier. He is also survived by his brother and sisters, including Ronnie (Ann) Vincent, Karen Tufnell, Cindy (Ed) Adams, Lynette Beyer, Annette (Faron) Hubble, Jill (Dave) Henschel and Debra (Tim) Johnson, and Kim Smith (Jennifer Erickson) along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Kirk was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Vincent, grandmother Marina Guilds, Grandfather Tony Alvarez of CA, his father and mother-in-law Raymond and Joyce (Jensen) Wilkes, and his grandfather and grandmother in law Russell and Caroline Jensen.
A Native American celebration of life will be held on January 10, at 1:00 p.m., at the Manistique Tribal Community Center.
