Kitty Callahan Beeland, age 85, of Reynolds, Georgia, passed away peacefully on her birthday, September 8, 2025. On the day she entered this world, she also entered eternal rest-going home to meet her Savior on her 85th birthday, surrounded by the love of her family.

She was born on September 8, 1940, in Ellaville, Georgia, to the late Allie and Emily (Garrett) Callahan. Kitty was raised in Thomaston, Georgia, and graduated from R.E. Lee High School in 1958.

Kitty was a devoted member of Reynolds United Methodist Church and lived a life marked by quiet faith, deep love, and enduring grace. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Julius E. "J.E." Beeland, with whom she built a beautiful life and family.

In addition to her parents, Kitty is preceded in death by many loved ones who have gone before her.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, J.E. Beeland; her daughter, Judy B. Webb of Waynesville, NC; her son, John Beeland (Rhonda) of Lizella, GA; her grandchildren, Janie Cozadd (Austin), Jack Beeland, and Jacob Webb; and her brother, Harold Callahan of Flower Mound, TX.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Hillcrest Mausoleum in Reynolds, Georgia. Reverend Tommy Beeland will officiate the service.

Kitty will be remembered for her steadfast faith, her loving heart, and the joy she found in her family. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

With honor, Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
