Kitty Bradford, age 71, of the Bald Mountain Community, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday, September 29th, 2025. She was a daughter of the late Roy Gilbert Burgner, Jr. and Peggy Verran. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Frank Riddle; brothers, Mike Burgner and Rex Burgner; brother-in-law, Mike Mathis and Fairon Bradford; sister-in-law, Rose Burgner; mother and father-in-law, Avie and Hillard Bradford; nephews, Ryan, Dakota and Roy.

Kitty loved being outdoors, whether it was landscaping, working in her garden, or planting wildflowers. She especially enjoyed gathering her family for cookouts. To her, family was not just those related by blood, but also those she lovingly took under her wing. She also found joy in spending time with her critters and making jewelry.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Earnie Bradford; daughter, Linda Bradford (Nick Teague); granddaughters, Cheyanne and Lakota; brother, Roger Burgner; honorary grandchildren, Avie, Lane, Clare, Caleb, Taylor, Chad and Evan; honorary great-grandchildren, Mikey, Steven and Baby Girl Buchanan; brother-in-law, Darick and wife, Alisa, Bradford of Burnsville; sisters-in-laws, Shelly Mathis and Daysi Burgner; seven nephews; two nieces; several great-nieces and nephews and many family members at heart.

A Graveside Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 4th, 2025 at Outlaw Cemetery on Bald Mountain. Officiating the service will be Rev. Jerry Shelton. There will be a dinner at the cemetery following the service. A celebration of her life will take place on July 12th, 2026, at The Level.
