Jessie May Gonzalez Bradford, affectionately known as Tish, passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on December 11, 1936, in Bloomington Springs, Tennessee, Tish was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was marked by warmth, love, and an unwavering devotion to her family.
Tish was married to the love of her life, Bob Bradford, with whom she shared many wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and precious memories.
Tish was one of the hardest-working and most dedicated employees of Midwest Fiberglass Company, where she worked for over 43 years. Her commitment and work ethic made a lasting impact, and she was respected for her determination and integrity.
Throughout her life, Tish faced many heartaches, including the devastating losses of her only children in 1999 and 2005. Her unwavering strength and resilience through the toughest times is a testament to the depth of her character and the love she carried for her family.
An original animal rescuer, Tish would often bring an injured stray home to nurse back to health, only to keep them forever.
A dedicated mother and grandmother, Tish found joy in the simple moments-whether it was cooking family meals, caring for animals, or sharing stories of her youth.
Tish is preceded in death by her husband, Bob Bradford, and her beloved children, Mario and Ricky. She is survived of Mario (Betty) Gonzalez Jr., Melizsa Gonzalez, Annie (Kevin) Covington and Angela (Matt) Delphus. Loving great-grandmother of 11, and great-great grandmother to 2. Jessie was preceded in death by her parents. Also survived by many other loving family and friends, and a community of friends who will miss her deeply.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 from 2-8 p.m. with service at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to your local Humane Society.
