Klaudia Noble (Claire to her family and friends) passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on November 13th, 2025. Claire was born on July 22nd, 1928 in Ukraine. She grew up during one of the most tumultuous times of the 20th Century, yet she developed a resiliency and quiet strength that would carry her throughout her entire life.
After the War, she then moved to England and met her husband, Rod. They fell in love and were married later that year, on November 15th, 1958. She welcomed her first son, Dale, while living in England. With her family, she immigrated to America in 1963 aboard the ship Queen Mary. A few years later she welcomed her second son, Gary.
Throughout the years, she made countless friends- both in her neighborhoods and throughout the world. It was important to her and Rod to keep in touch with everyone, and their Christmas card list and world travels for visits were endless proof of this.
Claire had a vibrant spirit and proudly celebrated her 97th birthday this year. Anyone that knew her, knew she loved to keep everyone around her well-fed. She especially loved cooking a traditional Sunday English Roast, complete with the perfect Yorkshire Pudding. She loved and took great pride in each home that she lived in, especially in her gardens. One in Naperville was even photographed for the local paper!
Claire was an active Grandmother that lived close to her family, which meant she never missed a chance to take care of her grandchildren. She showed up for all the big events- sports, graduations, and celebrations of every kind, but she also taught all of us that the everyday moments are the ones that mattered the most. In recent years, she was fortunate enough to have an extended family that also included great-grandchildren.
We will continue to carry her memory in our hearts forever, because it's hard to forget someone who gave us so much to remember.
Services will take place on November 25th, 2025,from 5-8pm at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home in Downtown Naperville, 516 S. Washington St., Naperville, Illinois. Private internment will take place on the following day.
