Konny Rishel Obituary
Beloved wife of the late Robert Marion "Bob" Rishel, whom she married October 16, 1954 and who preceded her in death on January 7, 2022, loving mother of Robert Ivan (Patricia) Rishel, Cindy Stockhus, Charles (Nancy) Rishel, and James Rishel, adored grandmother of Zachary Rishel; Mark (Richell) Stockhus and Tyler (Becky) Stockhus; Christopher (Ginny) Rishel, Matthew (Katie) Rishel, and Sarah Rishel, cherished great-grandmother of Brynn, Chloe, Brady, and William; devoted daughter of the late Elsie Tozier (nee Oestrich), dear sister of the late Donna (the late Jerome) Gaedtke and Jackie (the late Carl) Dassow, fond sister-in-law, cousin, aunt, great-aunt, great-great aunt and friend of many.
Konny grew up in Stevens Point, WI and was a 1952 graduate of P.J. Jacobs High School. She moved to Milwaukee, WI in 1952 to work, married her husband, Bob, in 1954, who was serving in the U.S. Navy, and they lived in many different locations around the United States and Scotland. When Bob retired from the Navy in 1974, the family settled in East Troy, WI, where Konny was a member and served as secretary for the First Congregational Church of East Troy UCC and was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
After Bob's retirement from civilian employment, he and Konny moved to Bella Vista, AR and were active members of the Bella Vista Presbyterian Church. Konny enjoyed golfing, painting and loved animals.
A celebration of Konny's life is being planned for a future date (early May).
Future inurnment: Highland Memorial Park, New Berlin, WI.
