Kortney Leeann Forester, 30, of Cadet, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on, November 21, 2025.
On January 23, 1995, Kortney was born to the union of Darrien Cummings & Starlene Jones in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
She was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Lincoln, Arkansas.
On November 15, 2024, Kortney was united in marriage to Michael Forester in Potosi, Missouri.
Kortney was a devoted mother through and through. She always thought of her children's needs before her own. She filled the family home with many plants along with her love and devotion. Kortney was also an animal lover. She loved the outdoors whether she was taking her family for an outdoor stroll, going fishing or kayaking. Kortney enjoyed spending time with her loving family and friends but especially her children. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was a member of the Deer Creek Church in Cuba, Missouri.
Kortney was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard & Peggy Robinson.
She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Forester of Cadet; four beautiful children, Elijah Forester, Omar "Santi" Calvillo, Silas Calvillo & Faith Rodgers; her parents, Darrien Cummings of Arkansas & Starlene Hinds of Missouri; one brother, Tyler Cummings and wife Andrea of Arkansas; two sisters, Kate Hammond and husband Ethan of Oklahoma & Kendra Cummings and wife Alyssa of Texas; In-laws, Chip & Angela Forster of Cuba; sisters-in-law, Michaela Gruver and husband Dylan of Cuba & Jerri Forester of Cuba; grandmother, Nana Shirley Jones of Missouri; aunt, Rhonda Stewart of Missouri; cousin, Terra Ford and husband Stephen of Arkansas; special friend, Leta Reyes-Vieyra of Arkansas; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many dear friends.
Cremation arrangements have taken place and there are no services planned at this time.
