Kory Krebs Obituary

Born March 11, 1955, in Des Moines to Emery and Barbara Krebs, Kory graduated from Nevada High School in 1973, where he was a standout wrestler and state champion. His success on the mat earned him the opportunity to wrestle at the University of Arizona. He worked at Hydro-Klean, John Deere, Des Moines Water Works, and retired from the Nevada Post Office.
An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and caring for his land. His passion for fishing included him manufacturing fishing lures that were regionally very popular.
Kory is survived by his former wife, Barb and their children, Karmen (Michael) Buchhop, Kris (Lauren) Krebs, and Kelli Weaver; grandchildren McKinley, Ruth, Chloe, and Max Buchhop, and Kolton Weaver; brother Kyle Krebs; sister-in-law Teresa Krebs; his beloved 4-legged friend Quiggle Sue; and many family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Kim, and nephew Joe.

Sure wish I lived closer so that I could have visited him more often. We had a lot of fun together as kids. Lots of fond memories. RIP cousin.
