PRICE -Kristen "Kris" C. Johnson, age 67, passed away surrounded by love and family on October 20, 2025.

Born on August 4, 1958, in Price, Utah, Kris was the third child of Mack A. and Joyce Cima Johnson.

Growing up in Price, Kris enjoyed playing little league baseball and going to Hill Air Force Base with his dad. Kris graduated from Carbon High School before attending Salt Lake Community College, where he studied to become a diesel mechanic-a trade that perfectly suited his natural skill and love of fixing things. Over the years, he worked for Steve's Diesel and Western Coal Company before joining his father in the Price Trading Company and later Parts Plus, where he thrived doing what he loved most. He also owned and operated a small engine shop until his well-earned retirement.

On March 7, 1981, Kris married the love of his life, Tami Litster, in Price, Utah. Together they built a home in Wellington filled with laughter, devotion, and shared memories that spanned more than four decades.

Kris was happiest when working with his hands, solving problems, and helping others. His passion for mechanics went hand-in-hand with his love of the outdoors. He enjoyed mountain rides, camping trips, NHRA races, and the thrill of fast cars and motorcycles-both dirt and street. A man of many talents, Kris also had a gentle side, expressed through his love of gardening and especially his cherished rose gardens, a gift learned from his mother. He shared his life with his loyal dogs-first Berrin, and later Axel-his constant companions and true pals.

Kris is survived by his beloved wife, Tami; sisters, Steffeny Fazzio, Peggy Rasband, and Tamela (Larry) Johnson-Tannenbaum; brother-in-law, Douglas Litster; sister-in-law, Robin Jensen (Gary Grant); and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; in-laws, Kenneth and Anita Bettino Litster; brother-in-law, Dick Fazzio; sister-in-law, Diana Litster; brother-in-law, Kevin Litster; and nephews, Anthony Jensen and Dusty Litster.

Kris will be remembered for his honesty, steady humor, mechanical know-how, and the way he could make anyone feel welcome in his presence. His legacy lives on through every engine he fixed, every rose he tended, and every heart he touched along the way.
