Kris Kauffman

Kiersten Janae "Kris" Kauffman, born January 4, 1975, in Phoenix to Milo and Anne Kauffman, passed away at home on December 6, 2025.
Kris graduated from Phoenix Christian High School in 1993 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts from Arizona State University in 2001. She worked in customer service, where her warmth, patience, and thoughtful nature touched many lives.
Her faith was central to who she was. As an active member of Scottsdale Bible Church, Kris participated in youth groups, choir, and various ministries. Through her church community, she also volunteered at Phoenix Seminary, forming meaningful connections and offering help wherever it was needed.
Kris devoted much of her time to service. She volunteered with Fearless Kitty Rescue and Feed My Starving Children, reflecting her compassion for both animals and people. She also loved traveling-especially to California-and had a keen eye for photography, capturing beauty wherever she found it. When she wasn't travelling or snapping photos, she enjoyed spending time with her cat Caspian.
Kris is survived by her parents, Milo and Anne Kauffman; her brother Milo K. Kauffman, his wife Kim, and their daughter Saxony; her brother Matthew Kauffman, his wife Liz, and their daughters Maisy and Marlee; as well as extended family and many dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20, at 10:00 a.m. at North Mountain Church, 10202 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85020. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest at Greenwood Memory Lawn, with the graveside service beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Kris will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her giving heart, and the light she brought into the lives of others.
