Kris Thyfault

Kristopher "Kris" Thyfault, age 45, of Hays, Kansas passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at HaysMed. Kris was born September 4, 1977 in Russell, Kansas to Terrance Thyfault and Linda (Wolf) Thyfault.
Kris graduated from Russell High School in 1996 where he participated in Football, Track and Band. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, playing cards with family, and attending his niece and nephews sporting events.
Kris was a long-time employee with Universal Termite and Pest Control in Hays. Kris was well known with his customers and hard to miss because of his size. Contrary to his size Kris was known as a kind, soft spoken man who enjoyed visiting with his customers and making lasting relationships with them.
Kris is survived by his father, Terry Thyfault of Topeka; his mother, Linda Thyfault of Hays; his sister, Katrina Schmidt and husband Eric and their children, Kyla and Kobe all of Hays; a grandmother, Edna Wolf Billinger (Pete) of Hays as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Anita Thyfault and Marcellus Wolf as well as an uncle, Rick Wolf.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, November 28, 2022 at St. Nicholas of Myra Catholic Church 2901 E. 13th in Hays. Burial will follow services in the St. Anthony Cemetery in Schoenchen, Kansas.
Visitation will be Sunday 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Monday 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM all at Brock's-Keithley Funeral Chapel and Crematory 2509 Vine Hays, KS 67601.
A combined parish vigil and rosary service will be Sunday at 6:30 PM also at the funeral chapel.
