Kristella Salazar, 58, a resident of Taos, passed away unexpectedly on August 13, 2025. She is preceded in death by parents, Fred and Dora Salazar, sisters LaVerne Martinez and Frieda Salazar, her other half Steven Torres and her nephew Marcos.
Kristella worked for El Taoseno Restaurant where she worked with her mother Dora and at Ricky’s where she was currently employed. Both employers loved and treated her like family.
She is survived by her loving sons, Juaquin Salazar (Nicole), and Rick Romero (Marrissa), her three grandchildren who she adored and loved so much, Marisio, Estrella and Esperanza Romero, her brothers Pedro and Randy Salazar, plus many other loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation and rosary will be on Thursday August 21, 2025 at 10am in the Evergreen Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home of Taos.
