Kristi Morino

Kristi Morino, of Meridian, Idaho, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 30, 2025, with her hand in her husband Ricks - until God gently took her by the other.
Born on June 3, 1965, in Twin Falls, Idaho, Kristi was born to loving parents, Richard and Betty Jeppesen. She grew up in the heart of rural Twin Falls County alongside her four siblings, where she developed a lifelong love of the land while helping her dad on the family farm.
A proud graduate of Castleford High School, Kristi was valedictorian of the Class of 1983. She went on to attend Boise State University, where she earned a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, along with teaching certifications in high school math, accounting, and typing.
It was at Boise State that Kristi met the love of her life, Rick Morino. The two were married on August 23, 1986, and together built a rich and joyful life centered around their deep love for each other and their two sons, Kolter and Soren.
Kristi devoted herself fully to the people and things she loved. Whether in her more than 20-year career as an educator, the warmth she cultivated in her home, her thriving garden, or the meals and baked goods she lovingly prepared, Kristi gave her heart generously. A true country soul, she embraced the simple pleasures of life. Her strength, kindness, and spirit left a lasting imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her husband, Rick; two sons, Kolter Morino and Soren Morino (Stephanie); and six cherished grandchildren, Malachi, Autumn, Wyatt, Montgomery, Hendrick, and Emerson. Kristi is also lovingly remembered by her four siblings: Mike Miller, Suzan deSeguin-Hons, Dana Lott, and Eric Jeppesen.
Kristis presence brought light and love and laughter to those around her. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will continue to inspire and comfort all who were touched by her remarkable life. To send flowers to the family of Kristi, please visit our floral store.
