Kristin Noel McCarthy

Kristin Noel McCarthy, age 45, of Galena, MD, and formerly of New Castle, DE, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.
Born in Wilmington, DE on November 11, 1978, the youngest daughter of David E. Williams (Molly) and the late Carol A. (Cullin) Williams. Kristin dedicated her life, time and energy to her children and family. She enjoyed being an active participant in her children's sports activities and spent many of her spring and summer nights as a questionable yet beloved assistant baseball coach. She was always her kids' biggest fan and held the title of favorite aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Whether it be dance parties in the kitchen, planning Wildwood beach trips, or never forgetting to call, Kristin had a knack for bringing her entire massive family together and will always be remembered as a beloved mother, cherished wife, sister, daughter, cousin, niece and friend.
In addition to her mother, Kristin was preceded in death by her daughter, Evangelina McCarthy. She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Timothy J. McCarthy; children, Timothy McCarthy II, Francis McCarthy, and Elizabeth Heath; siblings, Kelly Edwards, Stephanie Williams, Bunnie Williams, and David E Williams II (Julia); mother-in-law, Karyn Wilson (Wayne); sister-in-law, Megan Wiles (Kenneth); nieces and nephews, Noelle Edwards (Alexandra), Karlie Williams (Dan), Gabrielle Kowalski (Tyler), Maria Fields (Kyle), Stephen Curran II (Jobilynn), Patrick Curran (Sailor), Kevin Smith II, Leah Williams, Luke Curran, Mary Smith, David E Williams III, Grace Martin, Lane Wile, Rykker Wiles; and great nieces and nephews, Julian Gilbert, Norah Fields, Jack Kowalski, Sophie Kowalski and Daniel G Jones III.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12 pm until 2 pm on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 275 East Main Street, Middletown, DE, where a celebration of life will begin at 2 pm. Interment will be held privately in St. Dennis Cemetery.
