Kristina was a shinning star and she brought such joy to others and made the world a better place. She was so happy after her first publication and I was so proud and happy for her too. We were good friends and she was my inspiration to continue my doctoral studies. She touched my heart and everyone else who knew her.

I am so sorry at the loss of Kristy to all who loved her and to all those whose life she touched. I was one of these. I had the honor and pleasure of being one of her university instructors and her academic advisor from about 2011 until she finished her doctorate in October of 2016. We co-presented our work here and abroad. She was an enthusiastic learner and seemed to thrive on being a student and an emerging teacher and scholar. I and her cohort of fellow students will miss her.

My Heart is torn to hear of Kristina's passing. My life would not have been the same if I had not met her in High School. We had a beautiful friendship. I miss her deeply.
