Kristine Theresa Ockuly

Kristine Theresa Ockuly, of Fairfield, OH, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023, at the age of 52. Cherished daughter of George and Sandra (nee Braun) Ockuly; dear sister of Jacqueline (Richard) McCartney, Deborah (Brett) Woltjen, Pamela (Steven) Jackson, and Kathleen (Raymond) Palmer; beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. 

Kristine held a Master's Degree in Social Work from St. Lous University and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology from University of Missouri St. Louis, was a licensed social worker in both Ohio and Missouri. Her professional journey led her to collaborate with Family Services in Ohio, where she dedicated herself to aiding victims of domestic abuse. Beyond her impactful career, Kristine was known for her affection for cats, her loyalty as a Cincinnati Bengals fan, and her ability to forge connections wherever she went. Described as genuine, kind, sweet, loving, observant, smart, and articulate, Kristine's talents extended to the realm of debate, where she achieved national rankings both in high school and at UMSL. Her untimely departure leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

A private memorial mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Dardenne Prairie.
