Kristopher “Kris” Lawley, 18, left this world far too soon on September 26, 2025. He was born on November 3, 2006, in Missoula, Montana, and from the start he brought light, laughter, and joy to everyone who knew him.
Kris attended Stevensville High School but completed his senior year and graduated from Big Sky High School in June 2025 and was excited to begin building his future. He worked at EverLog Systems; alongside his dad at MJL Drywall; and took great pride in running his own business, Bitterroot’s Best Detailing. His determination and work ethic were far beyond his years.
Kris had a passion for cars, working out, and spending time with his friends. He was goofy, funny, and kindhearted, with a smile and energy that could brighten any room. He was intelligent, hardworking, and had the biggest heart. A young man who loved deeply and gave his best in everything he did.
He will always be loved and deeply missed by his family. This includes his mother, Sarah & Chris Loux; his step brother, Elijah; his father, Michael Lawley & Laura McConnell and her children Adam & Jade McConnell; his grandparents, Karl & Esther Solheim, Marc & Becky Bush, and Randy Lawley. Kris’ aunts and uncles; Justin Bush, Jamie & Emery Boyer, Josh & Lizzy Solheim, and Gina Lawley. And lastly, his cousins; Graysen Boyer, Ellie, Emma, Jonathan, & Ava Solheim. Kristopher’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
A celebration of Kris’ life will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at 2:00p.m. at Garden City Funeral Home, 1705 W. Broadway St., Missoula, MT 59808. All who loved him are welcome to join in honoring his life and the joy he brought to so many.
