My heart is broken as she was one of my very best friends. There is a hole in my heart and I feel lost.
We will never hear her epic laughter coming from the other side of the room. I will never get to call her spontaneously to go on a road trip. There will never be another party invitation.
To her hundreds of friends, I'm so sorry for your loss. To any of her remaining family, I'm sorry for your loss as well.
To a couple of her friends who I know were able to be there for her through the very end, Cindy Johnson and Paula McDonald, thank you for everything you were able to do sharing of all of you assets. Well done good and faithful servants.
Her next performance is premiering in heaven and she is no longer in pain. I'm sure it will be her best since her body is perfect now! She has longed for this day for a while. She was one of the very first people I met back in 2000 when I moved to Columbia. She was instantly my friend, but isn't that what everyone says when they meet Kristy? We clicked as we found out we have led almost parallel lives & having lots in common from being raised in the church & performing in choir, theater, handbells, puppets, missions & even clowning. She was kind, talented, generous, loved life & laughter& loved all about Jesus! She loved children & being Miss Kristy, celebrating every kiddo she knew. There was always a party at her house, whether it was her infamous pumpkin party's or a Christmas sock party, they were always themed &you better come ready to belly laugh! It didn't matter how small her home was she would cram every person in that she could because the world was her friend as she knew so many people.
Kristys love language was giving gifts & she did it abundantly for everyone she loved, if you spent a day with her you would probably end up in her next comedy routine, she always matched perfectly from head to toe starting out with a big smile on her face & always dressed perfectly for whatever holiday it happened to be.

She was always up for anything spontaneous from a road trip, to thrift shopping, watching a good movie or just hanging out, she could make even the most mundane thing as going to the grocery store so much fun. She was full of life & certainly made this world a better place oozing with love, laughter, & Jesus! I will miss my friend so much. She has left an incredible mark on my heart.
