Kristy J. Wagner

Kristy Jean Wagner (nee Anderson), of West Bend, Wi, born to life on May 24, 1959 and born to eternal life on July 8, 2025, at the age of 66. Beloved Wife for 35 years of Mark A. Wagner. Cherished mother of Zachary J. and Traeven W. Wagner. Sister of James T. (Lynn) Anderson. Sister-in-Law of William M. “Michael” (Jan) Wagner and Robert M. “Marty” (Connie) Wagner. Daughter in law of Nancy Wagner. Aunt and Godmother of Calvin J. (Mitzi) Anderson and Cameron T. (Elsa) Anderson. Cousin of twins David and Robert Vasel of Missouri. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thurman C. Anderson and Ann P. Anderson (nee Bartelsmeyer) also in laws, William J. Wagner and Joan T. Gritt and Aunt Jean A.C. Vasel.

Kristy graduated from Homestead High School in 1977. She then went to UW Madison and then transferred to UW Oshkosh, pursuing a degree in architecture, minoring in photography. She held many jobs during her lifetime including working in Design in the family box business of Badger Packaging Corporation. Kristy loved to read and enjoyed jazz music. Anytime she had people over, Kristy would turn on the radio and sometimes light candles. Kristy had a gift for entertaining and her interior design skills were impressive due to her creative flare.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and loving staff at Froedtert Hospital in West Bend and Milwaukee for their care and compassion over the last four months. She was surrounded by her husband and two sons at the time of her passing at Froedtert Hospital. Kristy was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, aunt, godmother and friend and gave unconditional love to her family and friends. She was such a kind soul that her family and friends will surely miss her!

Visitation will be at Myrhum – Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, 1315 W. Washington Street, in West Bend, on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Funeral service starts at 6:00 p.m. A private family inurnment will take place on Saturday, July 19, 2025 in the St. John’s Urn Garden of the Forest Home Cemetery.
