Krystal C. Davis

Krystal (Bleta) Davis, age 91, passed away on September 30, 2012. She was born in Farrell, Pennsylvania, August 5, 1921 to Christ and Anastasia Bleta. Greek immigrants, her parents settled in Canton shortly after her birth. She was the oldest of their five children: brothers, Pete and Dino, sisters, Carol and Catherine, have previously passed. She was a 1939 graduate of McKinley High School. With her knowledge and expertise of healthy living, "you are what you eat", Krystal and her son Charles opened a health food store, Davis Harvest Corner in Perry Heights in 1978. Her greatest passion was to educate and teach people to live a quality, healthy lifestyle. Preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence "Bud" Davis; she is survived by her children, Nadine Alexiou of Florida, Jane Wortman of Massillon, Lorraine (James) Kamp of North Canton, Charles (Anna) Davis, Jr. of Florida and Dan Davis of Massillon; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel (801 Pittsburg Ave. NW).
