Krystal Fernandes

Krystal Ashley Fernandes was born on July 13, 1989, in Bridgeport, Connecticut to parents Rosalee Creighton-Gordon and Larry Fernandes. Krystal attended James J. Curiale Elementary School, Central Magnet High School and New Haven Job Corp. Krystal began her higher education at Housatonic Community College and later attended Western Connecticut State University School of Professional Studies where she earned a bachelor's degree in justice and law administration.
Krystal's employment history includes employment in health care, library services, mail services and managerial services. Her last position was Administrative Assistant with Roof Top Roofing of CT.
On August 28, 2025, at 12:09 a.m. at Yale New Haven Hospital Krystal gained her wings. She leaves to cherish her memories; mother Rosalee Creighton-Gordon, Stepfather (Dad), Rudel Gordon; two daughters, Karmah Christian and Kennedi Reilly; brothers, Kyle, Senovene, and Kenneth Gordon; sisters, Monique and Tamera Fernandes Geyer and Carol Gordon; aunts, Angela and Arlene Creighton, Mary, Audrey, Carol Fernandes and Carolyn Downer-Fernandes; Uncles, Alan, Barry and John Fernandes; Companion, Patrick Reilly; God mother, Mordelia "Mal" Palmer, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Krystal was predeceased by her maternal grandmother and paternal grandparents.
