Krystal Ann White

Krystal Ann White, age 70, of Tecumseh, MI, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at her home. She was born on July 20, 1955, in Tecumseh, MI, the daughter of James Nelson and Shirley Ann (Lambes) Merillat. She was joined in marriage with Harold White on July 13, 1992, in Toledo, OH, and they enjoyed over thirty-three years of marriage together before her passing. She began working at Fisher Body in Tecumseh, MI, and retired from General Motors in Toledo, OH.
Krystal was a lifelong member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Tecumseh. She was also a proud member of the Red Hat Society. Krystal enjoyed working in her yard, and in her younger years looked forward to camping trips with her boys. She dearly loved her grandchildren and loved baking with them. Krystal especially liked Halloween, where she would host a family party, and dress up as the wicked witch.
In addition to her husband, Harold, Krystal is survived by her two sons, Jeff (Charity) Wright, and Craig (Gloria) Wright, both of Tecumseh, MI, and her step-daughter, Annette Lewis of Hudson, FL; seven grandchildren, Hailey (Danny) Wright, Brennen Wright, Emily Wright, Craig Wright Jr., Austin Wright, Briston Wright, and Colton Wright; two great-grandchildren; her siblings, Theresa (Rene) Ramirez of Adrian, MI, Renee (Donald) Rutledge of Brooklyn, MI, and Anthony (Shelley) Merillat of Adrian, MI; many very cherished nieces and nephews who knew her as Auntie Dearest; and her fur baby cats. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services for Krystal will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, December 29, 2025, at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes with Fr. Daniel Wheeler as celebrant. Visitation at the funeral home will begin at 11:00 am and continue until the time of the service. Interment will take place at Brookside Cemetery in Tecumseh, MI.
