Kurt Anthony Acoff was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 04, 1966, to George W. Acoff and Debra Ann Dowdell-Acoff. Kurt passed away peacefully on June 06, 2024, at the age of 58, lovingly surrounded by his wife, children, and family. Kurt was preceded in death by his parents, George and Debra Acoff: his paternal grandparents, John and Lucille Acoff; his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Ruth Dowdell; and his infant daughter Kalysa.
Throughout his school years, Kurt attended Oklahoma City Public Schools and Metro Technology Centers. Kurt enjoyed football and graduated from Southeast High School in May of 1984. Kurt graduated from Foster Estes in May of 1984 in the Auto Body Repair program, and in later years returned to Foster Estes (Metro-Technology) as a Classroom Instructor, to teach other students in the Autobody Repair career training program. Kurt’s career also included working at Chromalloy in Midwest City, OK, and at Tinker Air Force Base.
Kurt leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Dionna Evans-Acoff, his three daughters Kalinda, Ashley, and Rachel Acoff; his son, Kurt Acoff Jr; his siblings, eldest sister Sheena McCarrell (Eugene), eldest brother George Acoff, and youngest sister Michele Acoff-Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family relatives, and friends.
